The Federation of Archaeological Managers and Employers has been supporting the needs of archaeological businesses since 1975.

Advocacy
1. CDM regulations – respond on behalf of archaeology to the anticipated 2025 review.
Member consultation underway – responses being given in November (24).
2. Archives – push for the publication of the legal advice on Transfer of Title, and supporting documents, by Historic England.

3. Representation of development-led archaeology at all national Governments in UK and Ireland.
FAME is now on the Scottish Strategic Archaeology Committee.

13. Public benefits (how to engage communities on development-led project) – facilitate best-practices.
14. Archaeological science, research and disseminate findings – how can new innovations in – biomolecular and social innovation, scientific dating and science communication – support our members.
